Challenge coins date back to a World War I pilot who
had coins minted with his squadron's unit insignia.
Aviation Creation's First Solo Flight commemorative challenge coins are made from high quality brass. The coin's front face has a
prestigious oblique cut edging circling an airplane and the reverse
side has an area that can be engraved with the memorable first solo
flight's details such as aircraft tail number, first solo flight date, student pilot's name,
flight school or other special message. Each coin includes a velvet gift pouch and protective sleeve to present the coin wrapped in the honor it deserves for such
a milestone event.
